From North to South
We then had a 30 hour journey from Northern Thailand to the Southern Thailand, on a plane and then an overnight train, followed by bus, ferry, bus! Here there are two photos, one of the sleeper train prior to the beds being put out (we are travelling in second class), and the other shows the way people here say thankyou (taken outside the local McDonalds). The amazing thing about Thailand is that there is so much natural beauty, but also some of the worst types of people from around the world! You just have to read up on where to go, but we are both amazed by the natural beauty here. We were lucky enough to get a place to stay reasonably quickly by a beautiful beach. Apparently there is alot of theft here so we keep most of the stuff in the safe.
