Another temple we saw in Jayavarman's amazing 12th century complex (though some temples were from the 8th century) was Bayon Wat. This was one of my favourites as from a distance it really looks like a heap, but as you get closer you begin to realise that its actually lots of faces, which get illuminated in turn at sunrise, or darkened in turn with the sunset. The general good condition of the temples is the astonishing thing.

Encore des temples... C etait vraiment impressionant comme endroit surtout quand on pense qu ils ont été construit il y a au moins 1000 ans!! Et bien sur Dany était comme au paradis avec toute l'histoire à apprendre!!!
